Sharmane Fury (she/they/he/Sir)

is a two time Golden Crane award-winning podcaster and public speaker. Sharmane is exceptionally creative and perceives the world uniquely. In her way, she has taught, inspired, and motivated numerous people to become better versions of themselves. Sharmane is best known for their radiant personality and wealth of knowledge in intersectional identity, Mixedness/Queerness, podcasting, and comic book culture. She finds it abundantly rewarding to speak to people, instilling in them a positive mindset about their own identity. Over the years, she has spoken at PFLAG chapters, Sierra College, UCLA, UC Berkeley, on TV, podcast panels, and conferences.

Sharmane attended UC Santa Cruz for film school (B.A.) and Full Sail University for their Masters in Entertainment Business. She is the founder of ManeHustle Media and Gulf Coast Cosmos Comicbook Co (co-founder/former COO). Additionally, she is the Host/co-host of Militantly Mixed, BLERDcoMIXed, and the Bifurious podcasts and upcoming travel show Queer and Far (Summer 2022). Sharmane believes in creating a platform for People of the Global Majority’s (PoGM) voices to be heard. Sharmane is on a life-changing journey to inspiring people through creativity. As a comic book store owner, she is passionate about providing a space for artistic literature across all genres.

Sharmane is an insightful and engaging individual. She loves to meet with new people, teach and learn from them. As a sought-after speaker with proven knowledge in business, she strives to share her experiences with fellow PoGM business owners. Besides her professional and business endeavors, she is an active contributor to the Black, Brown, and Queer communities. She is most fascinated by opportunities that allow her to learn, teach, and add value.
